Easy and delicious vegetarian chocolate oat brownies without sugar and flour!
They are rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, with a small quantity of omega-3 fatty acids form the addition of the flaxseed. Each piece contains 6.1g of protein and 4.8g of dietary fiber.

The oat-hazelnut milk gives an extra taste of oats and roasted hazelnuts but it can be replaced by any other non-dairy, plant-based milk alternative.
The recipe is vegetarian but it can easily become vegan if you replace honey with maple or agave syrup.

Ingredients
- 2 cups oat-hazelnut milk
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups rolled oats
- ¼ cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat theoven to 175° C/ 350° F.
- In a mixing bowl add the milk, honey and peanut butter and stir with a whisk. If mixing is difficult, you can slightly warm the mixture in a microwave or in a bain-marie (water bath).
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixture, keeping some chocolate chips for the surface. Mix well and pour the mixture into a buttered square baking dish.
- Add the chocolate chips on top and bake for 35-40 minutes.
